Taylor Slough Inc. (TSI) is pleased to announce that it is part of the 1st Choice Team awarded a new five-year contract to provide administrative and communications support services to NOAA Fisheries.

Through this contract, TSI will support several NOAA Fisheries offices by providing technical editing, graphic design, strategic planning, web support, and administrative services. This work will help NOAA Fisheries continue to develop, manage, and deliver clear, accurate, and accessible information to a wide range of stakeholders.

Taylor Slough Inc. (TSI) has been awarded a new project to document the history of the Sanson Ranch in South Dakota’s Black Hills through a formal oral-history program. Our team will conduct eight interviews (five in person and three virtual) following Oral History Association best practices and deliver archival-ready transcripts, audio recordings, and interviewee photographs with signed releases. Over twelve months, this work will preserve first-hand memories for future interpretation, research, and public education.

On February 1, 2024, Taylor Slough Inc. (TSI) was recertified as a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. This recertification allows TSI to continue participating in WOSB opportunities and expand our customer offerings.

Taylor Slough Inc. (TSI) secures a purchase order to implement the NOAA Fisheries Limited Entry Groundfish Fixed Gear Cost and Earning survey. Through this survey, TSI will collect economic data on catcher vessels participating in the federally managed limited entry groundfish fixed gear fishery. These data are used to develop a variety of economic models examining topics such as fleet efficiency, participation, and community economic impacts. These data are also necessary to run the input-output model for Pacific Coast fisheries (IO-PAC), which is used to measure total economic impacts and inform management decisions
